The clients that have gone on from their sessions to make the changes they wanted in their lives are my constant motivation to do what I do and, I hope, an inspiration to you to start your journey of change. Here is just a small selection of what client's have said following our sessions together:
"Hi Brian,
I've found it interesting to notice the difference in myself since the
session in Time Line Therapy. The most noticeable change is the
increase in my energy and the renewed commitment to value myself more
and not allow others to drain my energy.
I'm also dealing better with doubt and fear by using more positive
inner-talk and reminding myself of the good I'm doing for myself by
removing negative/draining situtations and people. Also working to
eradicate old scarcity thinking around what I believe I can have and
do.Thanks again for doing the Time Line Therapy session with me and
helping me to start getting more out of life.
warm regards" Lorraine, Glasgow

"Re today, I did it! I got all psyched up and they were running behind so ended up waiting for over an hour in medium-panic. I practised hakalau in the waiting room for ages, then by the time I actually got called I wasn’t bothered either way. It was all over in about 5 or 6 minutes, and if this result comes back clear I will be discharged and only have to go annually – how great would that be?! I just kept repeating in my mind the mantra from my ‘window’ about it being natural, normal, positive etc. I told myself I was the only one brave enough to do it and I felt so proud of myself afterwards! I told them I had had some counseling for it and was going to do peripheral vision and deep breathing. When the doctor said she was finished, I was like, “is that it?" I feel like our sessions have been so worthwhile for me. Thanks again, and sure we’ll keep in touch.” Becci, Glasgow

"Within a short space of time, I found Brian’s ability to slice through layers to expose the truth to be truly skilful. His methods were vastly more effective than those of the many conventional therapists I’d worked with before. The combination of his skill, lovely sense of humour, extensive knowledge and creative approach is very powerful. I wholeheartedly recommend Brian to anyone wanting to make a breakthrough in their life.” Wendy, Edinburgh

“ Brian has been much more than a life coach to me. He has helped me to clarify my own sense of identity, my core values and my goals. My confidence to handle situations is now hard-wired with the help of his masterful use of NLP. Stress is not now a form of paralysis; it’s a call to get busy with what I mean to do in my life.” John, Aberdeen

"It has reinforced things that I already knew, I have real high hopes that it will support me to bust these self limiting thoughts processes...a lead me to toward my dreams. I am looking forward to the rest of the weeks.…" Lorna, Glasgow

"I just want you to know that I appreciate the amazing amount of patience and professionalism that you showed me. I threw a lot of crazy at you (whether you want to call it that or not) but I always left your sessions feeling 'normal' and certainly respected. Quite some feat considering I sometimes behaved like I'd been dragged there by the scruff of my neck. I'm quite certain that asking for your help will turn out to be one of the best decisions I've ever made. Already, many of my current relationships are far better and more on my own terms. I'm saying no to things that aren't in my own best interest instead of feeling I have to please other people (and then resenting them for 'making' me do it). Most of the time I don't even know I'm doing it, whereas before I would have felt almost sick with worry about risking upsetting someone. I also know that this newfound strength and self respect will affect all other areas of my life because the change is a part of me - not some temporary fix or learned 'assertiveness training' technique to be forgotten in a week or two. I don't feel like I need to hide from the world any more. I can live and be safe at the same time" Lianne, Glasgow

"Hi Brian
Just wanted to let you know I'm feeling much happier now and to say thanks very much for your help. I didn't want to email you until I was completely sure how I felt as my mood was changing dramatically from day to day for a while but I'm confident my happiness is here to stay now!
thanks again and hope you are doing well!" Catriona, Glasgow

"Great progress!, I halved the dose of citalopram on Monday –coming off slowly so it doesn’t jolt my body – I remember the nasty side effects when I started it only too well. This was about to happen last summer when Dad fell so ill and it became ‘not the right time’! so a long time coming but I’m delighted with my turnaround. Thank you for all your help and guidance along the way! Meeting you was the turning point" Joanna, Glasgow

"Hi Brian, Thankyou for very cool dancey-type track! This info on antidepressants is fascinating [you can download this information here]: Have been thinking alot about this since our session, and am now beginning to appreciate how limited the benefits(long-term)of venlafaxine have been for me. For the first time in a decade, I can see a point in the future where I may feel stong enough to start the tapering-off process. This is a massive thing for me. Having said that, I know that there is alot of hard work to be done, but I don't find that a daunting thought. best wishes," Elisabeth, Bridge Of Weir

The following 2 emails are about the same client, a 7yr old girl, crippled by chronic shyness. We worked together for about 5/6 hours in total.
" Hope all is well. I thought I'd let you know that I have had a much better week with Eden.
It could be that she is finally turning that corner. A friend's mother took her out to a ballet show at the weekend and said to me that she had never heard Eden speak so much in her life. She was ever so chatty. I'm sure Eden will tell you all about it when she sees you. I have also adopted some reward strategies exactly how you recommended. Eden knows they were your ideas. However they are brilliant and I'll tell you all about it when I see you."
"Hi Brian,
Just to let you know that Eden has been going from strength to strength of late. She was even a main part in the schools nativity play this week. She was speaking up loud and clear. Who would imagine it? This time last year she wouldn't have been seen dead even hiding behaind the curtain. What a changed girl! Things have definately been achieved. Thank you!" Janette, Bearsden

"Hi Brian,
Thank you so much for the session on Friday. It has made a tremendous difference to my life already.
I could feel a few twinches in my back still releasing on Saturday but everything is much clearer now.
We got our house - got the phonecall while I was releasing the past with your help on Friday!
Big changes are happening and things are looking up.
I have recommended you to many people already.
I feel I would like to offer you something as way of thanks but can't think of what to do, or even anything else to say except Thank You again.
Good luck in your ventures and God bless.
In Love, Light and Dharma" Tsering, Renfrewshire

"Hi Brian just to let you know I did the sailing at the weekend and felt totally liberated....in fact Ive been manic since! I loved it and now enrolling for a 26week offshore course to go for my day skippers qualification. I feel like a little switch has just been turned on in my head! Away tomorrow to Verona and I cant wait...so hopefully it was last for a while!! And I have stopped trying and doing!" Lynne, Shawlands

"I have sat through a number of Brian’s NLP group workshops and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The recognition of my own behavioural patterns which I hadn’t really given much thought was a bit of an eye opener. On reflection I realised that some of my behavioural patterns were holding me back (and that’s a big realisation for someone who served as an Army officer for 20 years!) in my new life. I have since visited Brian as a “one to one” client and taken the first steps towards a more effective “me”. I thoroughly recommend that you visit a Headstrong NLP workshop and learn more about yourself in just a few hours than you ever thought possible. E. James Rohn says: “Work harder on yourself than you do on your job”. So, as you wouldn’t think twice about buying some new software for your PC every year– why not invest a little bit on the your own “software” for a change and see what Headstrong NLP is all about." "I was recommended Brian through a friend, and agreed to meet him for a chat over a coffee, about what I was hoping to get out of the sessions should I decide he was the right person to go ahead with. I was amazed at how easy it was to talk to him, and how he just "made sense". I attended a few sessions to stop smoking, and after every time, just was amazed at how Brian spoke my language. His background in the corporate world, like myself, definitely helped as did being an ex-smoker who had been through exactly the same as I was facing ahead of me. I have a very conscious, over analytical and sceptical mind, which was certainly trying to unpick the techniques (and good) that Brian was doing. So it is to Brian's credit that I have not smoked for almost 5 months now, and have no wish to start again." Fiona, Glasgow, Beunos Aires, Lima, Possiblilty

" I just thought I would give you a wee update on what's happening with me.
You may remember that my job was stressing me out and I didn't enjoy it well I've changed jobs and am now a trainer for Norwich Union. It's going really well.
You might also remember I felt quite insecure around my work colleagues. I'm going on holiday to Bali tomorrow with two of them.
I wasn't too sure what I wanted for my future. Ian and I are going to start trying for a family in the new year. No-one knows that obviously.
Mum's still driving me mad though!" Jennifer, Kilmacolm

"You may also be surprised to hear that I have been to Braehead this morning and have gone up 4 different escalators and up and down the level style escalator at Sainsburys. It felt really good infact I felt ecstatic, I used my anchor this morning before going and then anchored each time I was on the escalator and feeling ecstatic - I did not feel anxious with my stomach churning as it had done 2 1/2 years ago. I think it took me so long to go on the escalator this time as over the last 4 weeks with inner ear infections, chest infections and colds ( normally I don't get anything like that), I did not feel my best physically, today I felt near normal for the first time and the outcome was going on the escalators - for me it was important to be at my best physically and be mentally prepared with the techniques before tackling them. In true occupational therapy style I will build on my confidence in going up the escalators and using the level escalators and work to going down an escalator - thank you for the techniques to change my fear." Eileen, Paisley

"Brian, a few words for you. Brian helped my 13 year old boy face and overcome his irrational fears in 3 hourly sessions! I am normally sceptical about this sort of thing but would definitely contact Brian again in the future to assist with confidence building, etc. He is very approachable and ‘teenager friendly’." Jenny, Bridge of Weir (Jennys son had a fear of the dark which was stopping him even going upstairs alone in his own home)
